Perpetuum mobile

string instruments feel like long halls of amber light and large mahogany chests filled with mystery.

some things feel like childhood, others are wildly different from anything you will ever know.

some are just things you haven't gotten the chance to miss yet.

Most people live in their minds as if they were being watched by someone else. That isn't true, we are watching ourselves as if we were someone else. The image you create long amber halls feels authentic and unselfconscious; like you, not the mind that's watching you.

When you say that some things feel like childhood it makes me think of perspective and point of view the way the first line does. I get the sense of being small but full of wonder.

My sense of childhood may be different from yours. I have more than one childhood at hand, yours and my own and the one that other people remember of us. Of those 3 points of view most people consider the one personally experienced one as the only authentic one, but I disagree. Each is authentic.
